We are seeking a modelling postdoc to work with us on our BBSRC-funded "4D plant" project. The goal of the project is to understand the interplay between wind forcing, plant movement and photosynthesis, ultimately to improve cereal crop yields. The focus of the post is on developing mechanical and statistical models of moving plants, and of the consequent light dynamics within a canopy.
