Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Statistics, Northern Arizona University
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics has 32 permanent faculty including 7 in statistics and offers Bachelors’ degrees in mathematics and secondary mathematics education, Masters’ degrees in statistics, mathematics, and mathematics education, and a graduate certificates in applied statistics and teaching introductory community college mathematics. This assistant professor would have the opportunity to contribute to the informatics research at NAU by collaborating on grants focused on the application of “big data” methods in one or more areas, e.g., bioinformatics, health informatics, or informatics applications to other life science areas.
