We are seeking an individual to work on a NIHR HTA funded individual participant data meta-analysis at the Department of Biostatistics, University of Liverpool.
£34,188 - £39,610 pa
The key purpose of this post will be to undertake data management activities and statistical analyses as part of an individual patient data meta-analysis of randomised controlled trials evaluating the efficacy of psychological therapies for psychosis. The project will identify the individual moderators of response to psychological treatment in people with diagnosis of schizophrenia or related psychoses. You will join a multidisciplinary team including researchers with a track record of impactful meta-analytic studies, a world leading CBT expert (Professor Tony Morrison, Chair of Clinical Psychology) and two renowned statisticians with extensive expertise in RCT methodology/analysis (Professor Emsley) and individual patient data meta-analysis (Professor Tudur Smith).
You should have a PhD in Medical Statistics or related fields, or equivalent experience. You should have prior experience of statistical analysis applied to health intervention data, in particular randomised control trials and meta-analysis. The post is available until 31 May 2019.
