Position: Professor or Associate Professor in Data Science
The Centre for Research in Mathematics at Western Sydney University is seeking to appoint a Professor or Associate Professor in Data Science to join the University’s School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematics. The Professor or Associate Professor will be expected to make major contributions in research, academic leadership, scholarship and teaching and learning at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and to play a leadership role in the development of the Research Centre.
The appointee will be a creative researcher willing to work with collaborators within the Centre, the University, and with external partners. They will also be committed to the education of data science students, and to strengthening the developing curriculum in the data science and related areas.

Remuneration Package: Professor - Academic level E; or Associate Professor - Academic level D. Academic Level E $215,034 to $222,518 p.a. (comprising Salary of $182,548 to $188,944 p.a., plus 17% Superannuation, and Leave Loading).
Academic Level D $168,168 to $184,705 p.a. (comprising Salary of $142,491 to $156,625 p.a., plus 17% Superannuation, and Leave Loading).
