The University of Luxembourg is looking for its Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine, Department of Mathematics, for 1 post-doc in Data Science

24 months fixed-term contract, 40 hours/week. Starting 1 February 2022 or earlier.
Employee status
Tasks
Research in one or more of the following topics: statistical modelling, (interpretable) machine learning, sports analytics, analysis of (sports) medicine data.
Research dissemination at international conferences.
Teaching activity of 2-4 hours per week.
Active participation in and support of the organization of the activities of the research group.

Your Profile
PhD (not dating back more than 7 years) of high quality.
Research experience in at least one of the following topics: computational statistics, machine learning, bioinformatics
Experience in programming languages
Autonomous worker with good organizational and analytic skills
Very good written and oral skills in English.
