Research Associate in Biostatistics
Grade: 7 (£33,797 – £41,526 per annum)
Full-time, two years fixed-term position

We seek to appoint an enthusiastic and talented statistician to conduct state-of-the art statistical analyses for the NIHR HS&DR-funded project “Intervening to eliminate the centre effect variation in home dialysis use (InterCEPt)”. The analyses will involve graphical Markov modelling to translate qualitative insights into the interrelationships between centre, policy and patient factors in centres with varying success in using home therapies, into appropriate statistical models that are coupled with causal graphs; and multistate modelling of time-to-event data from patients who receive renal replacement therapy.

The post holder will join our vibrant Biostatistics Group based at the School of Medicine.
You will have an MSc or PhD in biostatistics, medical statistics, applied statistics, or other related subject with substantial quantitative component, or equivalent experience. You will also have experience in applied health research.
This is a full-time, two years fixed-term position with salary dependent on qualifications and experience.
