Role: Senior / Principal Statistician (oncology)

PHASTAR is looking for a senior / principal statistician with experience of working on oncology clinical trials to join our UK statistics team. We're looking for candidates from academia, clinical trial units, research institutes, CROs or pharmaceutical companies, so if you're open to a new role but would like to continue working within oncology please get in touch.
As a senior / principal statistician you will hold a combined project leadership and hands-on technical role. You will lead a team of statisticians and programmers to manipulate, summarise and analyse clinical trial data using a variety of statistical methods. You will prepare and review study documentation including protocols and statistical analysis plans, and will function as statistical support across multiple studies. As project lead, you will be responsible for allocating staff, predicting and planning resources and timeline management. You will liaise closely with clients to maintain a positive and engaging relationship with regards to statistical issues, and will advise, mentor and teach internal and external statisticians with regards to statistical and data analysis methods.
