A postdoctoral position is available within the Biostatistics Group at the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden.
The successful applicant will develop and apply methods in the area of survival analysis with particular emphasis on methods for estimating cancer patient survival using national population disease registers. Research areas of particular interest are use of causal inference methods in population-based cancer studies and improving the communication of statistical measures, but there is some flexibility in the exact research areas. The position is for 2 years with possibility of extension.
