Description:
The Department of Biostatistics and Computational Biology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute seeks a postdoctoral fellow in bioinformatics, to work with Drs. Nikhil Munshi and Giovanni Parmigiani on bioinformatics projects within the outstanding multiple myeloma program at DFCI. The position offers excellent scientific training opportunities in a highly stimulating and interdisciplinary environment involving close interactions between computational scientists, medical oncologists and basic scientists.
Qualifications:
Applicants should have a strong quantitative background and hold a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Statistics or Biostatistics. Previous interdisciplinary collaboration experience, and previous experience with ChIP-seq or other second generation sequencing data are highly desirable. Good communication and programming skills are required.
