The College of Science at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) seeks a statistical bioinformatician with expertise in big data analysis for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Department of Mathematical Sciences. Successful candidates will develop productive research programs, mentor and teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and collaborate with researchers in UTEP’s NIH-funded Border Biomedical Research Center (BBRC). Anticipated appointment date is Fall 2015.
