Do you want to work for an Institute which is leading in clinical trials research that impacts clinical practice internationally? Do you want to have an important role in a successful, highly talented, dynamic and multi-disciplinary team? Are you an enthusiastic, driven postgraduate with a statistical qualification and experience of working in clinical trials research?

We have multiple posts and opportunities in the Cancer Division of CTRU at the University of Leeds (https://bit.ly/2FflvsG).

CTRU is a leader in the field of clinical trials and was one of the first 26 clinical trials units across the UK to be awarded full registration status by the UK Clinical Research Collaboration. The unit has over 200 staff, directed by Professor Julia Brown and is host to a Cancer Research UK Clinical Trials Centre (https://bit.ly/2T7IyJv), The Myeloma UK Concept and Access Research Programme (https://bit.ly/2HzbsjC) and The Yorkshire Cancer Research Centre for Early Phase Clinical Trials (https://bit.ly/2Odbzmp). The Unit designs and conducts national and international randomised clinical trials across early and late phases in a variety of clinical fields (cancer, stroke and cardiovascular disease, mental health, obesity, care of the elderly, skin and musculoskeletal disease).

The CTRU has a strong methodological portfolio associated with clinical trials research especially related to early phase trials, adaptive and biomarker-driven trials, and complex interventions. We have a vibrant, well-established group of more than 35 statisticians who work in multidisciplinary teams including programmers, clinicians, health economists, health service researchers and trial and data managers. If you want to make a difference and be part of a successful, highly talented, multi-disciplinary team, then this is the career for you.
