The Pragmatic Clinical Trials Unit leads and supports clinical trials in which the primary question of interest relates to intervention effectiveness: whether an intervention works under real-life conditions. It currently leads or supports 38 pragmatic trials or other well-designed studies, including pilot and feasibility studies. The unit additionally conducts methodological research particularly related to cluster randomised trials, pilot and feasibility studies, innovative trial design and good practice in the design, conduct and analysis of pragmatic trials.
