EMPLEO | Project Manager Position_IBIDAT

DESCRIPTION:The UC3M-Santander Big Data Institute (IBiDat) (www.ibidat.es) is a joint initiative by Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and Banco Santander. It was founded in 2015 and it has rapidly become an institution of reference in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Analytics in Spain. IBiDat’s goal is to apply cutting-edge research to solve industry problems, participate in research and innovation projects funded by different national, European and international agencies and develop specific industry-based training and teaching activities in the area of Big Data Analytics.

POSITION OVERVIEW: The main tasks to be carried out by the IBiDAT project manager include the following:

- Administrative and coordination support in the preparation of project proposals and contracts with companies.

- Administrative and coordination support in the execution of research projects and contracts with companies.

- Administrative and coordination support in the justification of research projects and contracts with companies.

- Leading the search for public and private funding sources, including the identification of appropriate competitive calls for IBiDat.

CONDITIONS:

- Competitive salary in line with the candidate’s experience.

- Duration: 2 years extendable depending on the candidate’s availability of funds and performance in the role.

- Tentative start date: March-April 2024.

REQUIREMENTS:

- At least 2 years of demonstrable experience in research project management.

- High level of English.

- High knowledge of office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).

- Knowledge of project management tools in the field of public research centres (UXXI, ECAS UE, etc).

- Willingness to work in a team.
