2 Research Technician positions in Prediction and Clustering of Streaming Time Series withApplications to Electric Energy Management

The Basque Center for Applied Mathematics (BCAM) has published the call for 2 Research Technicians.
The “Machine Learning” research line at the BCAM looks for a Research Technician to work in a project TIN2017-82626-R Efficient Management of the Electric Energy Consumption by Means of the Classification, Prediction and Clustering of Time Series.

In particular, the research focus on developing methodologies for the prediction and clustering of streaming time series. The proposed methodologies will be tested on time series describing electric energy consumption profiles.
The duration of the contract will be 6 months.

Requirements:
• Promising young researchers.
• Applicants must have their Bachelor’s or Master degree preferable in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related fields.
