Postdoctoral Associate in Bayesian Statistics / Machine Learning MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL)
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position with Professor Tamara Broderick at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, MA. The position is based in the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL).
The research group focuses on scalable, unsupervised, and nonparametric statistics---with an emphasis on Bayesian nonparametrics, approximate Bayesian computation, and combinatorial stochastic processes. The ideal candidate would have, or be finishing, a PhD in statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related area. Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated an excellent background in both theory and computation.
To apply, please submit a CV (pdf), a brief statement of research interests, a pdf of one (or two) of your most significant publications, and the contact details (including email addresses) of two references to Tamara Broderick at the following email address: This email address is being protected from spambots.
