Salary Grade 7 - £32,958 to £38,183 per annum

Full-time open ended contract subject to fixed term funding. Funding is available from 01 October 2017 until 29 February 2020

We wish to appoint an experienced researcher to develop and carry out independent research, contributing as a team member to the Medical Research Council funded project, "Development of methods for the analysis of complex survival and joint longitudinal-survival data with application to linked electronic health records". The post will involve the development and application of advanced statistical methods in the fields of multi-state survival analysis and joint longitudinal-survival models, using electronic health records from the UK, Sweden and Denmark, in both the areas of cardiovascular and cancer epidemiology. The ideal candidate will have high-level expertise in biostatistics/medical statistics/applied statistics with evidence of research productivity and innovative research in the field of survival analysis. You will be educated to MSc level with either a PhD in a relevant area or extensive research experience.
