Post-Doctoral Research Assistant – Statistics, University of Dundee
The Leverhulme Research Centre for Forensic Science is a 10 year £10 Million project with the remit to disrupt positively the current forensic science ecosystem. We are looking for a statistician to join our team with a particular skill set in probabilistic reasoning including the Bayesian approach to data interpretation. As a key appointment in the £10m Leverhulme Research Centre for Forensic Science you will help to reinforce the scientific validity of evidence in the courtroom.
The Post-Doctoral Research Assistant within the Leverhulme Centre will be part of the core research team along with the Principal Investigators. You will work on innovative, inter-disciplinary research, engage in the development of collaborative research activities and provide leadership on projects requiring statistical expertise. As part of the team you will be an active contributor to projects, to drive Forensic Science forward and generate maximum impact within the community.
