The Collegio Carlo Alberto (http://www.carloalberto.org/) invites applications for a Post-doctoral research fellowship within the European Research Council Project "New Directions in Bayesian Nonparametrics".
CANDIDATE PROFILE
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated researcher holding (or being close to completion of) a PhD in Statistics or related areas. Other qualifications include significant programming skills and demonstrated research abilities. A background in any area of Bayesian Nonparametrics is desirable, though not essential. Knowledge of Italian is neither required nor advantageous.
CONTRACT DETAILS
Two-year contract, renewable for two additional years, starting on October 1st, 2013. The salary is competitive with other European Research Universities, and generous additional research funds will be provided.

The closing date is March 31st, 2013. After the deadline, applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
