The Department of Statistics and Applied Probability invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor position in Probability (STAT18A) starting July 1, 2018.

Areas of focus include Mathematical Finance, Risk Management, Applied Probability, Stochastic Processes and Simulations. The successful candidate would be affiliated with the Center for Financial Mathematics and Actuarial Research hosted by the Department, and would be expected to be engaged with the Financial Mathematics & Statistics and/or Actuarial Science programs offered at UCSB.

Qualifications: A PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field by the time of employment.
