Lecturer Position Management Statistics - UW-Milwaukee Lubar School of Business

The Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee invites applications for a Lecturer in Management Statistics to begin in the Fall of 2015, subject to budget approval. We are looking for a colleague devoted to full-time teaching. Salary is competitive and the appointment will be toward indefinite status (the equivalent of tenure-track for lecturer position).

The primary responsibilities in this position will be to teach a four course load per semester for a variety of statistics courses.
Additionally, the selected candidate will be willing to teach in online format and coordinate teaching assistants, and contribute to the mission of the Lubar School by mentoring and advising students, and providing service to the area, School, and University through committee service and other shared governance activities.

Qualified candidates will possess a Ph.D. in Statistics or a related field with appropriate background in foundations of statistics. Required qualifications also include demonstrated teaching excellence in the areas of business/management statistics or applications. Preferred qualifications include excellent communication skills, along with an ability to work collegially and collaboratively within the university.
Candidates with anticipated Ph.D. completion by August 2015 will also be considered.
