Duties and Responsibilities
The post holder will be expected to conduct research in Statistics related to the ERC funded project: "Networks in Time and Space (NETS)". Led by Professor Sofia Olhede, the project is focussed on developing statistical theory and methodology for modeling and estimating networks observed over time and in space. Networks are strongly non-Euclidean data, which require significant statistical innovations to analyse. The project will take inspiration from results in high dimensional data analysis and graph theory, and connect developments to applied problems in neuroscience and ecology.
The post is available immediately and is funded for 2 years in the first instance. Further funding may be available.
