Genomics of Gene Expression – Conesa Lab
Centro de Investigación Principe Felipe, Valencia

The Genomics of Gene Expression Lab, lead by Ana Conesa, is a multidisciplinary team interested in the development of computational approaches to study functional aspects of gene expression and omics data. We work extensively in the data integration from different types of NGS-based technologies and create algorithms and software for the scientific community. Some examples are Blast2GO, Paintomics, maSigPro, NOISeq , etc.

We are looking for talented and motivated researchers to join our team to work on two different projects.

Pre-doctoral position: Multiomics and Multi tissue modeling of inflammation processes linked to neurodegeneration.
Candidates should have completed a Master degree in biostatistics, bioinformatics or biotechnology and should not have had any previous pre-doctoral training positions. Appointment length: up to 4 years.

Post-doctoral position: Integration of multiomics data for pathway modeling and analysis. Candidates should have a PhD degree in Bioinformatics or Biostatistics with experience in the analysis of next generation sequencing data. Max. appointment period: 18 months
