Two 2-year postdoctoral positions are currently available in my group in the broad area of statistical network analysis, to start over the next few months. Projects will focus on understanding the behavior of large networks, ranging from the foundational (asymptotic theory, algorithms) to the practical (modeling citation networks).

Successful candidates will have a strong theoretical background coupled with a passion for data analysis. Past experience working with networks and relational data is a plus, but most important is the potential for substantive contributions to modern statistical theory, methods, and/or practice.

For the right candidates(s) there are also opportunities to collaborate with industry, as well as to participate in the 2016 Newton Institute program in this area (http://www.newton.ac.uk/programmes/SNA/index.html).

If you are interested please apply online at the link above and also send a CV, copies of your best work, and a list of academic references with email and telephone contact information to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
