Call for a post-doc in Bayesian statistics applied to OSL dating (France)

Dear colleagues,

We inform you that a post-doctoral position for one year is available at the Labex "Sciences Archéologiques de Bordeaux" (France), CNRS and University of Bordeaux-Montaigne (web site: http://lascarbx.labex.u-bordeaux.fr/)

The post-doc fellow selected will undertake an original research project on "new statistical tools for OSL dating" (see call here attached) This subject involves some good knowledge in Bayesian statistics.

The work location will be in Nantes University (lab. Mathématiques Jean-Leray: http://www.sciences-techniques.univ-nantes.fr/91380/0/fiche___laboratoire/) or in Rennes 1 University (lab. Géosciences-Rennes: http://www.geosciences.univ-rennes1.fr/), under the supervision of Philippe LANOS (http://www.iramat-crp2a.cnrs.fr/spip/spip.php?article35) and Anne PHILIPPE (http://www.math.sciences.univ-nantes.fr/~philippe/home.html) and in close collaboration with the TL/OSL laboratory in CRPAA (http://www.iramat-crp2a.cnrs.fr/spip/) at Bordeaux-Montaigne University (TL/OSL team: Norbert Mercier, Pierre Guibert, Chantal Tribolo, Christelle Lahaye, Guillaume Guérin).

Application deadline is May 31, 2015.

Thank you very much in advance by circulating this call in the Bayesian community.
Best wishes,
