DESCRIPTION:
The company Quibim is offering a contract for a Statistical Methodologist (Permanent and Full Time).
Quibim designs and creates pioneering tools that unlock imaging data to improve patient outcomes. They use AI to help detect pathologies in oncology, rheumatology and neurology. Quibim specializes in tissue profiling every body part and imaging modality, developing novel quantitative imaging biomarkers to deeply analyze disease mechanisms, advancing in drug discovery and monitoring treatment progress. Using the power and promise of quantified imaging data and AI, Quibim makes precision medicine a reality.
MAIN TASKS
As an expert in scientific research methodology with advanced knowledge of statistics, you will participate in the systematic revision of Quibim research projects and the elaboration of the clinical study documentation, among other tasks within the scientific area:
- Provide expertise in the design, management, preparation, and evaluation of clinical study documentation: protocols, case report forms, SAPs, final study reports, etc.
- Manage and report on the clinical study set-up, maintenance, and follow-up study activities through ongoing tracking and reviews.
- Liaise closely with other staff members to ensure ongoing clinical, scientific, and operational oversight. Design and validate study databases.
- Conduct complex statistical analyses for clinical trials, cohort studies, and population-based study databases and consolidate and present information in tables and figures.
- Conduct meta-analyses for projects involving systematic reviews.
- Assist in writing statistical sections of study reports or publications.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Proven work experience as a methodologist/statistician in the clinical research environment.
- Demonstrated experience in performing meta-analyses. The candidate should be open to acquiring and applying new methodologies, especially those relevant to meta-analyses of diagnostic accuracy studies.
- Desirable: Hands-on experience with AI models or involvement in projects related to artificial intelligence or machine learning.
- MSc or preferably Ph.D. in an appropriate scientific field.
- Strong organizational, analytical, reasoning, and research skills.
- Proficiency in the use of statistical and programming software.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
- Excellent scientific writing skills.
- Integrity and proactivity.
